Why Cáo

Not a photo booth. A working studio.

Cáo Studio is a Hanoi makeup studio with three branches and a Saigon branch, working local weddings and events week in, week out. Our sister florist Hoa Lang Thang delivers across Hanoi in two hours. That is who shows up for your shoot — people who do this for a living, not a tour-desk reseller.

Questions

Before you message.

Do I need to book in advance?

Two to three days is ideal so we can match you with an artist and photographer and reserve the ao dai in your size. Same-day is sometimes possible — message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly.

Where do we meet?

Your artist comes to your hotel or Airbnb for makeup and hair. The photographer then meets you at the first location, which we plan around where you are staying.

What should I wear under the ao dai?

A light, neutral top and fitted bottoms (leggings or slim trousers) work best. We bring the ao dai and the traditional trousers; you keep your own shoes, so choose something comfortable for walking.

How many photos do we get and how fast?

All the good frames from the session, edited, within 48 hours via an online gallery. Rush delivery the same evening is available.

What if it rains?

Hanoi and Saigon have real rainy seasons. We watch the forecast, move the start time or shift indoors (cafés, temples, hotel), and if the day is a wash-out we reschedule at no cost.

Can you do makeup for a wedding I am attending?

Yes — this is what Cáo does every day for local weddings. Tell us the time you need to be ready and the artist arrives at your hotel with a full kit, including early-morning slots.

Do you speak English?

Booking and coordination are in English over WhatsApp. Artists and photographers have working English for the session; we also serve Korean, Chinese and Russian guests with translated briefs.

How do I pay?

We confirm the booking with a small deposit and you pay the rest on the day. Payment details and options are sent on WhatsApp when we confirm.
